ISB 2017 and the Asia Pacific Society of Biomechanics Conference are being brought together in Brisbane this year to deliver a unique program. Health Informatics Conference - HIC 2017

Learn the latest research and the role of health informatics from over 150 industry speakers, network with clinicians, researchers, decision makers and thought leaders and share experiences, ideas and challenges at HIC 2017. Speakers include eHealth Queensland CEO Dr Richard Ashby AM and social commentator Bernard Salt AM.

Emergency Medicine Research Symposium
24-25 August, Translational Research Institute

EMF will bring together key educators, researchers and thought leaders within emergency medicine research. The event is designed to stimulate, innovate and shape the future of research within the sector. The line-up will feature more than 40 national and international presenters, including Professor Kathryn Maitland, Dr Martin Than and Professor Julia Crilly.

23rd International Clean Air and Environment Conference (CASANZ)
15-18 October, Pullman Brisbane King George Square

CASANZ will bring together people with an interest in environmental science and management with particular reference to air quality, climate change and related issues. The conference’s theme is The Critical Atmosphere, placing focus on creating a better understanding around the physical and chemical processes underlying air quality and the effects of climate change on human health and wellbeing. Keynote speakers include Professor Michael Brauer from the University of British Columbia and Professor Zissis Samaras from Aristotle University in Greece.

The very first Asia-Pacific Conference on Integrated Care will be held in Brisbane and aims to inspire new ideas and create stronger partnerships for improving population health. The conference will bring together researchers, clinicians and managers from the Asia Pacific region who are engaged in the design and delivery of integrated health and care services. Keynote speakers include Professor of Rural Health Research David Perkins and CEO Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service Fionnagh Dougan.

Alliance Down Under 2017
8-10 November, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre

Alliance Down Under 2017 is open to all employees of higher education institution, the public sector or federal organisations with Oracle/Peoplesoft. The conference is expected to be a great learning and networking event for professionals in the industry.
