The Brisbane Convention Bureau is thrilled to share the results from Dreamtime 2017, Business Events Australia’s signature incentives tradeshow:
- 100% of buyers were satisfied with the entire Dreamtime 2017 program
- 100% of buyers were satisfied with Brisbane as a business events destination
- 100% of buyers are more likely to consider/pitch Brisbane post-visiting
Brisbane Convention Bureau General Manager Juliet Alabaster said the overwhelmingly positive feedback underlined the professionalism, creativity and innovation of Brisbane as an incentive destination.
“Dreamtime provided Brisbane the perfect opportunity to showcase our experiences, hotels, venues and team-building offerings to key global incentive decision-makers, who are responsible for bringing large groups into Brisbane and surrounding areas,” Ms Alabaster said.
“The Brisbane Convention Bureau expects greater interest from incentive groups following a successful hosting of Dreamtime, not only for Brisbane but for the surrounding regions which the group visited during their stay.
“Dreamtime was the perfect platform to show incentive planners from around the world all that our regions have to offer for organisations who are seeking to encourage and reward high performance within their teams, with the ultimate goal of achieving better business outcomes.”
Ms Alabaster said following up attendees of Dreamtime 2017 was critical in ensuring Brisbane stays top-of-mind for buyers, and reminding them of all the unique offerings available in the city.
“We will also look to ensure continued product development remains key, as we continue to bolster what Brisbane has to offer with a raft of new and exciting experiences,” she said.
“In addition to these measures, we believe Brisbane is better experienced than explained, which is why we will continue to bring groups to Brisbane on famils and let them see it for themselves.”
