Leisure Tourism

Kangaroo Point Cliffs

Brisbane is one of Australia’s most diverse regions. Just an hour from the city visitors can experience everything from rolling green countryside and mountain rainforests to tranquil lakes and white sandy islands.

As the official Regional Tourism Organisation for Brisbane, Brisbane Marketing is the key tourism body for the Greater Brisbane region which includes Brisbane, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, the City of Logan, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Scenic Rim and Somerset

We’re committed to increasing visitation from domestic and international source markets, increasing expenditure and facilitating sustainable development of the city’s tourism products and experiences.

To achieve this, Brisbane Marketing works in partnership with Tourism Australia, Tourism Queensland, local councils and tourism operators.

Brisbane Greeters

Brisbane Greeters is a FREE public service open to everyone. Whether you’re a local, here on business, a student, visiting or choosing Brisbane as your new home, we’re looking forward to meeting you. Brisbane Greeters are locals who love living here so much that they are enthusiastic about introducing you to their city, and sharing their intimate knowledge.

There are two types of greets offered through Brisbane Greeters: Greeter’s Choice or Your Choice.
