Brisbane business success stories – Nominate now for LMBA
1 June 2016
The winner of the Australia TradeCoast Award for Small Business Growth at the 2015 Lord Mayor’s Business Awards has encouraged other Brisbane-based businesses to nominate for this year’s awards, which will be held in October.
PharmaData CEO and Co-founder Guy Mckenzie said the opportunity gave the business plenty of exposure.
“Winning the Lord Mayor’s Business Awards last year has really helped shine a light on the solutions we provide to the pharmaceutical industry as Brisbane-based business, data and retail experts who understand pharmacy,” Mr Mckenzie said.
“Over the last several years we have taken our deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry to identify needs and drive change through the way multinational companies use their data to make more informed and strategic business decisions.”
Since winning the award, PharmaData has continued to nurture digital advancement throughout the pharmaceutical industry, both in Australia and internationally in countries including France, Spain, Italy, Canada and Portugal, delivering what it describes as simple solutions to boost profitability and sustainable growth.
The annual Lord Mayor's Business Awards will celebrate their 11th year in 2016, once again highlighting the fantastic contributions the business community makes to the city's $146 billion economy.
This year an inaugural sponsor has been announced for the Award for Digital Strategy, one of 11 award categories which include eight open to businesses, two open to individuals and a further outstanding category winner.
The ISPT Award for Digital Strategy is sponsored by one of Australia’s largest unlisted property fund managers.
Other sponsors include Australia TradeCoast, Brisbane Times, Clayton Utz, ANZ, Energex, HSBC, Port of Brisbane, Singapore Airlines, Channel 7, BDO, 4BC, Sirromet, Brisbane City Council and Optus.
Nominations are now open for the 2016 Lord Mayor’s Business Awards and businesses have until Friday 22 July to put their organisation forward for consideration.
