Unwind after a long week at Nostimo’s Sunset Friday’s, where you can enjoy Greek meze, signature cocktails and DJ tunes. The Friday soiree runs every Friday from 4pm to 7pm, until 21 December at Nostimo Restaurant Bar.
New exhibition at Queensland Museum
Uncover the stories, objects and journeys that trace how the First World War changed the face of Queensland and continues to shape our lives, a century later. The Anzac Legacy Gallery at Queensland Museum tells the fascinating story of the First World War in Queensland; the people and the things they held close – objects of war and warfare, and personal items belonging to those on the front line. Entry is free.
Escape to the foreshore
Escape to the foreshore for a day of sun, dancing and feel-good music for the For Shore Festival on Saturday 12 January. Sandstone Point Hotel’s first edition of the festival will feature big-name artists including PNAU, The Presents, SAFIA and CXLOE. Tickets and accommodation are available now.

Come behind the scenes of the iconic Australian fashion house, Easton Pearson at the Museum of Brisbane’s latest exhibition. The Easton Pearson Archive will take you beyond fashion, revealing the design secrets of a major fashion label. The exhibition runs until 22 April 2019.
Explore Mona Ryder Lone Star
Mona Ryder Lone Star is the most significant solo exhibition by artist Mona Ryder in Brisbane in over 10 years. With a mix of primarily new and never-previously-exhibited works, this is a rare opportunity to explore Ryder’s deeply immersive installations. The exhibition runs until 16 February at Artisan.
