Brisbane Arcade Spring Flower Show set to bloom

Brisbane’s grandest heritage shopping arcade, Brisbane Arcade will once again bloom, blossom and ring in Spring when its annual and much-loved Spring Flower Show is staged from Saturday, 31st August to 6th September 2019.

This year marks the Brisbane Arcade’s 95th anniversary as Brisbane’s ‘jewel in the crown’. This theme recognises the Brisbane Arcade’s history of having been the headquarters of Queensland’s royalty of fashion and jewellery. It will give it a distinctly royal flavour with crowns and bejewelled flower installations.

Museum of Brisbane turns BAD

BRISBANE ART DESIGN (BAD) has taken over Museum of Brisbane with a multi-dimensional exhibition showcasing both established and emerging artists and designers of Brisbane.

As part of BAD, MoB is thrilled to spearhead bold new commissions from local artists and designers including Justene Williams, Dale Harding, Nicolette Johnson, Craig & Karl, and Isabel & Alfredo Aquilizan. Urbane rolls out French Black Truffles
