Brisbane Insider: March 2019 - Choose Brisbane

Brisbane Insider: March 2019

We’re starting off with some fantastic results from this year’s Australian Tourism Awards, which saw two Brisbane Marketing members take out highly coveted national tourism prizes.

Brisbane-based tourism operator Fun Over Fifty, took out Gold in the hotly contested Ecotourism category, demonstrating that Brisbane can match it with the best in delivering quality experiences. The award acknowledges their vision to be recognised as the most sustainable tour operator in Australia through a range of expansive tours.

Our other recipient needs no introduction. The Irwin family were named winners of the Australian Tourism Legend Award, which recognises the extraordinary achievements from the family and the team at Australia Zoo, and their contribution to the Australian tourism industry.

Congratulations to both Fun Over Fifty and the Irwin Family for your awards and for the contribution you make to Greater Brisbane’s tourism industry.
