Curiocity Brisbane

Technology, science, innovation and art are intersecting through a new three-week event taking over Brisbane until 3 April.

The inaugural Curiocity Brisbane includes a trail of 15 interactive public art installations called Curiocities (15 Mar – 3 Apr), the World Science Festival Brisbane (March 20-24), and the new QODE innovation conference (April 2-3).

The Curiocities are positioned along the Brisbane River from South Bank’s Cultural Precinct to Brisbane Powerhouse and operate both day and night over the 20 days.

The concept of this interactive, innovative event for Brisbane has grown from a close collaboration between Brisbane City Council through Brisbane Marketing and the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland.

QODE to bring global tech and innovation minds to Brisbane

As part of Curocity Brisbane, QODE is shaping up to be one of the most innovative tech forums in Australasia, featuring more than 20 Australian and international experts.

Telstra CEO Andrew Penn and Energy Queensland CEO David Smales will feature at the event with Queensland’s chief entrepreneur Leanne Kemp, Brisbane’s Chief Digital Officer Cat Matson, Boeing Next senior director Egan Greenstein and renowned Israeli futurist Roey Tzezana.
