Logan Motorway Corridor
The Logan Motorway is exceeding its planned capacity with up to 60,000 vehicles per day traversing the 30km route between the Ipswich Motorway and Pacific Motorway.
The Logan Motorway Pavement Improvement Program, which began in 2013 and is due to be completed in 2021, will ensure it remains safe, smooth and structurally sound. This is part of a larger program of works to upgrade the Logan and Gateway Extension Motorways, which will also include the installation of an intelligent transport system to enable Queensland Motorways’ Traffic Management Centre to assess traffic conditions and manage congestion and traffic incidents in real time.
