As General Manager of the Investment Attraction team, Steven leads a team of dedicated investment professionals who work with clients from around the world to provide full market entry and expansion strategies on behalf of the city. Steven has been involved in the foreign direct investment sector for eight years and during this time has secured the investments of multinational companies from within Infrastructure, Energy & Resources, Information Technology and Renewables. Steven has a Bachelor of Engineering in Microelectronic Engineering and a Masters in Technology Management, and previously worked for one of Australia's largest and most diverse human resources outsourcing and recruitment companies.

Charan Judge

Charan Judge, Manager, Investment Attraction (Industrial)

In his role as Investment Attraction Manager (Industrial), Charan is responsible for attracting business investment and new jobs into the Brisbane region. Charan's current focus is in the advanced manufacturing, logistics and food and agribusiness sectors. In addition, Charan will help in developing and implementing business development programs, liaising with public and private sector allies and working closely with the Brisbane Marketing Investment Attraction team on strategy development and business planning to achieve our investment goals for Brisbane. Charan previously worked for Bluescope Steel in Brisbane and Citibank in India. As a Marketing and Distribution professional, Charan has extensive experience working in the steel, waste management, and retail industries within Australia, and the Indian banking and finance sector.

Roger Moloney

Roger Moloney, Senior Manager, Investment Attraction (Commercial Property)

As the Senior Manager, Investment Attraction (Commercial Property) Roger is responsible for attracting commercial property development and investment to the Brisbane region. This is achieved through Roger liaising with public and private sector allies and connecting property asset owners with interstate and international companies. Roger possesses a wealth of knowledge in the property industry, with a proven track record of achievements.

As the Senior Manager, Investment Attraction (Tourism Infrastructure) Oriana is responsible for attracting hotel and tourism-related investment and development projects to the Brisbane region. Oriana's focus includes developing and implementing business development programs, liaising with public and private sector allies, and working closely on strategy development and business planning.

Oriana is a dynamic and innovative hotel property professional with a proven track record of achievements within investment and advisory projects globally in both the private and public sector. Oriana has honed her negotiation and strategic advisory skills and has proven ability to forge strong client and stakeholder relationships. She is an experienced project manager, with the ability to creatively facilitate and execute investment deals that add to the bottom line and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes to stakeholders.

Andrew Nielsen, Senior Manager Investment Attraction (Industrial)

Andrew Nielsen, Senior Manager, Investment Attraction (Industrial)

Andrew’s role encompasses attracting and facilitating both foreign and domestic investment into the Greater Brisbane region within key industrial, innovation sectors for Brisbane. More specifically, food and agribusiness, logistics and distribution, and advanced manufacturing.

Andrew can assist with preparation of tailored business cases, facilitating interstate and intrastate relocation projects, as well as international and local expansion. In addition, Andrew can provide key information regarding property selection, labour analysis, incentives, and facilitate key introductions to local stakeholders. Andrew brings extensive experience within the building product and construction sectors, in particular within the manufacturing and distribution spaces having worked for large international and local manufacturers.

Kai Wai Wong

Ka Wai Wong, Research & Investment Analyst, Investment Attraction (Technology and Innovation)

As the Research & Investment Analyst, Investment Attraction (Technology and Innovation) Ka Wai is responsible for supporting the investment attraction team in evidence-based data analysis and research as well as stakeholder engagement. Ka Wai's focus is on areas of innovation and technology that enhance Brisbane key growth sectors, and also in energy and resources with a particular focus on mining, equipment, technology and services. Ka Wai has previously worked in the private and public sectors in Australia and in international development across Asia.

Danielle Mills

Danielle Mills, Executive, Investment Attraction

As the Executive for the Investment Attraction Team, Danielle is responsible for strategic project support, coordination and management of the Investment Attraction Corporate Partnership program, event management while providing extensive administrative support to the Director and Investment Team.

Most recently Danielle has worked for Adani Mining as the Executive Assistant to the CEO, however her international experience extends to 10 years with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise based in Washington DC, located at the Embassy of New Zealand. Danielle has a proven track record of forging international relationships in the education sector and consulting services sector (World Bank/ IFC). Her main responsibility in her previous role was to facilitate business partnerships and to promote New Zealand tertiary education to increase the number of American students, which resulted in revenue for the New Zealand institutions.
