Study Brisbane is the official student destination brand for the City of Brisbane and forms part of Brisbane Marketing, the city’s economic development board.
The international education sector represents Brisbane’s largest service export income. Study Brisbane plays a strategic role in Brisbane’s education market by developing and expanding the city’s profile as an international student destination in target source markets.
Study Brisbane has established a cohesive brand for student life in Brisbane, centred on studybrisbane.com.au. The city’s education providers will have access to the intellectual assets – produced and managed by Study Brisbane – and be able to apply these assets across their international student attraction programs. The provision of a cohesive and city-wide brand will help grow Brisbane’s share of the international student market.
On a consumer level, the website will act as the official and initial touchpoint for existing and potential students. Information provided will assist potential students in their decision-making process, and current students in exploring Brisbane’s natural and built assets. The site will also support visiting friends and relatives of students – providing tourism information, special offers and an online booking engine.
