Australian Catholic University

With over 150 years of educational heritage, Australian Catholic University (ACU) is a publicly funded institution offering students high-quality and internationally recognised qualifications.

Its culturally diverse population includes students from over 85 countries, and with seven campuses in six cities, it is Australia's only truly multi-state university.

The Brisbane Campus at Banyo has more than 5200 students, including more than 400 international students. It is 12km north of the Brisbane CBD and close to the Brisbane International Airport. Free parking is available on campus and there is also a free bus service from the campus to Toombul, Northgate and Chermside.

With well-established links to hospitals, schools, churches and welfare agencies – nationally and internationally – courses include practical work and community engagement opportunities designed to prepare students for employment and leadership positions in the global economy.

The quality and strength of its academic programs, along with the dedication of teaching staff, contributes to a higher-than-average graduate employment rate – and ACU’s reputation as one of Australia's fastest-growing and most-affordable universities.

It offers more than 178 high-quality, career-relevant undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degrees across a range of academic disciplines. The English Language Centre and diploma pathway programs are university-integrated and the research portfolio includes six University Priority Research Centres as well as several specialist institutes.

Its comprehensive academic and social support services ensure that students have every opportunity to succeed in their studies.
