Give her the best start for the future with a quality education at one of Queensland’s longest running schools for women, St Margaret’s.
St Margaret’s was established in 1895 by the Sisters of the Society of the Sacred Advent. The School’s mission has always been to provide excellence in teaching and learning to create well rounded, confident, compassionate, capable women.
Boarding is central to the spirit of St Margaret’s. The school is very proud of its long-held boarding traditions and our connections, often across generations, with rural Australia, Pacific nations and beyond. The boarding house adds cultural diversity, fosters strong student connections, builds a sense of community and offers a support network that you won’t find in other schools.
The nurturing and development of our international students is important to St Margaret’s and this is reflected in the pastoral support offered to students whilst attending the school, with a full time coordinator of international education.
