Partha Narayan Mishra (India)
Namasté (My soul honours yours)!
My name is Partha, and I am currently working on my PhD on dielectric measurements in relation to dewatering of soft soils at School of Civil Engineering, The University of Queensland. I am an ardent supporter of diversity, a perfectly average person who loves plotting graphs/charts, long walks (I walked from City to St. Lucia quite a few times :D) and meeting new people. I come from Bhubaneswar, capital city of Odisha located in Eastern India. For me, experience with Brisbane has been wonderful so far; with the weather quite alike to what we experience in India and the craze for cricket, which is also similar; this place feels like a second home. The new world city is so alive and lot to offer to international students with vibrant events around south bank, street markets, koala and ‘roo experience, heaps of friendly people and many more.
