Loving the city once again
Brisbane EDA is teaming up with more than 60 city retailers, hotels, service providers, cafes and restaurants through a series of marketing activities to reconnect locals with Brisbane’s heart.
The ‘Love the City’ activity is aimed at driving local consumer traffic and spending to the city heart following the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions.
The marketing activity has seen more than 60 city businesses provide industry offers via gift cards distributed to 3000 inner city residents and through a dedicated offers page.
A special ‘Love the City’ video was produced to showcase the city as a premier tourism, retail and hospitality destination to locals and additional messaging is being rolled out through social media channels and via advertising and editorial in The Weekend Edition and The Urban List.
In July, the activity resulted in 6,700 leads to specific retailer offers. ‘Love the City’ will run until 30 September.
