Queensland First Training Program For Brisbane Region Tourism Businesses

A new, free training program designed to help Brisbane region tourism businesses attract new customers and improve bookings is now available online.

Designed for new and existing tourism businesses, the modules include the latest customer trends and online booking guidance, as well as downloadable templates including a Business Road Map and Social Media Content Plan.

Delivered as a comprehensive guide featuring 13 online modules, the Best of Brisbane Region Experiences Support Program aims to assist businesses to achieve Tourism and Events Queensland’s ‘Best of Queensland Experience’ status.

The Queensland-first program aims to collectively lift the profile of the Brisbane region by upskilling businesses to provide exceptional tourism experiences that will encourage visitors to stay longer and spend more.

The program will also support more than 40 local Brisbane region businesses through an 11-week mentorship program.

Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) is proud to deliver this program in partnership with Ipswich City Council, Logan City Council, Moreton Bay Regional Council via Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism, Redland City Council, Scenic Rim Regional Council and Somerset Regional Council.

BEDA acknowledges Tourism and Events Queensland for their support of the program through the Contestable Funding Program 2021-2022.
