2019 Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors’ Forum

The Brisbane Report invites you to be involved with the 2019 Asia Pacific Cities Summit (2019APCS) and Mayors’ Forum, which is set to return to Brisbane from 7 – 10 July 2019.

The theme for 2019APCS is ‘Driving Cities through Business and Innovation’, which will provide a platform for local businesses to meet with decision makers from across the Asia Pacific and fast-track their footprint in this rapidly growing market.

The event is set to host 1000 delegates from over 100 cities across the Asia Pacific region and beyond, including mayors, leading academics, industry professionals and business leaders, with the intention to drive innovation, create city partnerships, and promote economic growth.

The 2019APCS will offer insights on how government and businesses create smarter cities through innovative solutions through an informative program, networking opportunities, dedicated business programs, and hosting world-class speakers including Co-founder of Netflix, Marc Randolph and global sustainability leader, Peggy Liu.

Some of the ways you can get involved include:

[email protected]

The Asia Pacific Cities Summit is renowned for helping Brisbane businesses gain entry into key global markets and the 2019APCS is your opportunity to engage with the region at a significant scale.

[email protected] will help you strengthen trade and investment links, connect with local business owners and entrepreneurs, and fast track your journey in the growing Brisbane economy.

Through this dedicated business introductions program, delegates will be able to pre-arrange meetings with other delegates, including local government representatives, potential partners, investors, clients and suppliers.

[email protected] is designed to help you connect with the right people, organisations or cities and exchange knowledge and do business, whether you have a government-to-government, business-to-business, or business-to-government focus.

Innovation Alley

For the first time, 2019APCS is introducing Innovation Alley - a dedicated exhibition space for entrepreneurs, start-ups and new business to showcase their innovative technologies that can enhance our cities’ liveability, mobility, and sustainability.

‘Innovation Alley’ will enable start-ups, technologists, and entrepreneurs to showcase their newly found ventures on a global scale to delegates of the Summit.

Major Project Announcement Briefings

A first for the APCS, the Major Project Announcement Briefings will provide businesses with the chance to hear first-hand about upcoming tender opportunities in local governments in Australia and internationally.

Mayors, Chief Procurement Officers and local government representatives will present upcoming major project commercial tenders, procurement activities and partnership opportunities to businesses across the Asia Pacific region.

The opportunity to secure Early Bird Registration rates end on May 31. Day-only delegate passes are also available. To register or for more information, visit the APCS website.
