St Aidan's Anglican Girls School
St Aidan’s is a Prep to Year 12 Anglican day school for girls with a co-ed kindergarten located in suburban Brisbane. The school’s 750 students have the opportunity to study more than 34 subjects and participate in about 15 different sports. More than one-third of students play a musical instrument. Each year, St Aidan’s students eclipse state and national literacy, numeracy and tertiary qualification standards. The school population reflects our belief that students experience many benefits in an intentionally smaller school environment.
Why St Aidan’s?
- Academics - St Aidan’s is the first school in Queensland to have 100 percent of its students achieve an OP 1-15. Of these, 39 percent of St Aidan’s girls achieved an OP 1-5 in 2014.
- Homestay Program - operated by St Aidan’s, students are welcomed into the home of a local family, providing complete immersion into the Australian culture and lifestyle.
- Student Welfare - teachers play an integral role in developing connections with students and the school. St Aidan’s strives to provide excellence in education in a caring, friendly environment, where each individual, nurtured and shaped by the values of the Christian Faith, has the opportunity to achieve her full potential and to develop a passion for life and for learning.
