David Sea (Cambodia)
សួស្តី! (“Sousdei!" Hello in Khmer)
My name is David, and I am from Siem Reap, Cambodia, a country that is well-known as the Kingdom of Wonders, consisting of a dazzling Royal Palace, the art deco Central Market, friendly people and archaeological exhibits, especially the world's largest religious monument, Angkor Wat.
Currently, I am a second-year student at The University of Queensland, majoring in Chemical Engineering. I am an enthusiastic, outgoing and passionate person and I have worked with people from various cultural and professional backgrounds.
Brisbane has become my home away from home. I believe this city has so much to offer; located in an authentic sunshine state filled with lush botanical parks and green spaces, a multicultural community, plenty of excellent restaurants and bars, the glittering Story Bridge and a spectacular river that flows through the heart of the city where nature and people intertwine.
As a 2020 Brisbane International Student Ambassador, I aspire to become a global citizen and help make a positive contribution to the society by utilising my knowledge to promote inclusivity to all international students and the advancement of our diverse community.
I am extremely excited to embark on this new journey and I would like to invite you guys to come along to get a glimpse of what life is like in this New World City.
